Wrought iron wall lights. These “Butterfly” lights measure approximately 20cm (w) by 25cm (h). The black finish is obtained using a traditional method of rubbing the hot iron with wax. The stained glass in our wrought iron lighting is particularly attractive as it has a “grain” effect and is available in a variety of colours. These original wrought iron wall lights work well in both contemporary and more traditional settings.
Wrought iron chandelier made for the Ron Montero distillery, Motril, Granada. This wrought iron chandelier is 2.1m wide by 2.2m high and incorporates 18 lights. The design brief required the finished piece to reflect part of the rum production process. In the end an interpretation of sugar cane was chosen. Sugar is an important part of the local heritage and some cane is still grown in the area. The client especially wanted the cane to be shown in flower and we decided to use glass shades that reflected the colour and shape of the feathery flowers.
Wrought iron Candelabra. These candle holders are about 35cm tall. They are made by working the heated iron over the anvil in order to draw out and narrow one of the ends. Once the required length is reached a “leaf” shape is formed at the narrow end – this will be used to hold the candle. The iron is then formed into the final shape of the candle holder. The wrought iron candelabra make fantastic table decorations as they can be set in a variety of positions relative to one another.
Wrought iron Candelabra. Here is a selection of our “iron candles” and wrought iron candelabra. The candles are vessels made from forged iron which are then filled with wax. The candelabra shown here are made from forged square bar – the two halves are held together with a single rivet. The “wave” candle holders are made by forging heavy flat iron bar to a point and then forming it into the wave shape – the candles are held in single cut made in the metal. Our candelabras make beautiful and original wrought iron lighting for your home.
